Dock bumpers are attached to a loading dock to absorb vehicle impact. We provide a range of dock bumpers including: black natural rubber compound, high molecular weight polyethylene yellow faced dock bumpers, nylon dock bumpers (sliding and fixed), steel faced bumpers and steel bumper brackets.
Dock lights illuminate the inside of vehicles to enhance the working environment for operatives by lighting up goods and obstructions. We offer a full range of dock lights which can be manually positioned or moved on swing arms and controlled either by operator switches or automatically from the control panel. Loading bay dock lighting systems are available in low voltage or mains power supply.
Floor-mounted wheel guides ensure vehicles reverse in alignment with the lift to increase loading and unloading safety whilst prolonging the life of dock shelters. Our wheel guides are supplied in either high visibility yellow polyester powder coat or hot dipped galvanised finish.
We design, supply and install various type of dock bollards and protection posts to improve the efficiency of the loading bay to help ensure operator safety and to minimise the risks of expensive accidental damage to loading bays or buildings from vehicles accessing busy loading bays. Our range includes: door goalposts, central protection posts, standard protection posts and barrier protection posts.
Our control panels are designed, built and tested in-house. We manufacture standard control panels with the ability to design and build bespoke control systems to suit site requirements. We also carry a stock of standard control panels for swing lip and telescopic dock levellers which fit most makes of dock leveller and can also operate all types of associated industrial doors.
Traffic lights increase safety during loading and unloading by providing positive control of vehicle movements. We supply a range of loading bay traffic lights including ultra bright LED based systems which have an exceptionally long operating life and very low power consumption. The lights can be linked to the loading bay door or to a sensor and can be controlled from an integrated control panel.
Forming a seal between vehicles and the warehouse, our dock shelters provide all-round protection for your workforce and goods, protecting from adverse weather conditions, dust and insects. Energy costs can also be minimised by reducing heat loss from the building. Rugged and robust top and side flaps, mounted on a galvanised, compressible frame, result in a stable and tear-resistant construction.
Our inflatable dock shelters provide an airtight seal between the loading bay and the vehicle and are best suited to temperature controlled operations where protection against heat loss, draughts and cold air is required. Energy costs can also be minimised by reducing heat loss from the building by maintaining the internal temperature of the warehouse.
Foam Dock Pads are by far one of the most cost effective ways of sealing the vehicle rear to the loading bay. The seal is created when the vehicle backs up to the pads which compress until the vehicle makes contact with the bumpers. To ensure the loading bay is sufficiently sealed the pads must be closely matched to the vehicle width and height.
