I’ve been working at here for 3 years.
I enjoyed working for a family run industrial company previously and was aware of FBS through them. I had heard good things about FBS and knew they offered development and progression.
I joined as the HR Manager, I am now Head of HR.
My role has changed significantly since I started at FBS. With the growth of the company and the progression of the HR function it has been a great place to work. Recently promoted to Head of HR, my focus will be to streamline processes and continue the work to make FBS-Hormann a great place to work.
It is safe to say there is no such thing as a normal day working in HR. the job is always varied and very engaging which is what I enjoy.
Diplomatic, impartial, problem solver, empathetic.
Assisting the Reactive department with their development to what we have today. When I started at FBS there were 3 coordinators and a manager. Now the department has over 30 office staff.
To work in an industry where you can experience a wide range of HR to become a true generalist and be prepared to assist in any situation.
Prior to joining FBS I had complete CIPD Level 5. I am now working towards completion of CIPD Level 7 with the aim to become Chartered.
To lead the HR function for FBS-Hormann. To date my main focus has been on recruitment and project working, including TUPE transfers and consultations for changes to employee T&C’s.
Since joining FBS-Hormann, I have seen a large proportion of the company benefit from development and progression within the business. I have not been part of a company that offers such great opportunities for development before.
Yes, I have worked on 3 TUPE transfers since starting here, and had not experienced this before, which was great for my own knowledge.
I play rugby for Kesteven Rugby Club, go to the gym or play golf with friends.
